A Beautiful Smile Achieved Invisibly

The Advantage of Invisalign®

Are you interested in straightening your teeth but don’t want to wear traditional braces? You can choose the discreet alternative—Invisalign®—instead! Invisalign uses clear aligners instead of a bracket-and-wire system to move teeth into proper position. For teens and professional adults, this nearly invisible alternative to braces is a great option. Our dentists are certified to provide Invisalign in Fort Worth, TX and are passionate about the transformative effects this treatment can have on our patients without the need for metal braces. We encourage you to take advantage of our virtual smile consult and get personalized recommendations from our skilled dentists before you schedule your appointment!

Comparing Invisalign and Metal Braces

Invisalign clear aligners have many distinct benefits when compared to conventional metal braces. For one, Invisalign is made from nearly invisible plastic, so it’s both discreet and metal-free. Invisalign aligners are also removable, so you won’t have to restrict your diet or modify your oral hygiene routine during treatment! Many of our patients report that their Invisalign treatment was very comfortable, too. The aligners are made of smoothed plastic, so they won’t irritate the gum tissue, tongue, or lips. Invisalign treatment is a simple orthodontics process that’s easy to follow for almost all patients.

Our Invisalign Treatment Process

The first step in your treatment is to get digital impressions of your teeth as they are now. These impressions will be used to create a series of clear aligners. You’ll wear these aligners for 20-22 hours each day and will switch them out for the next about every two weeks. Because they’re removable, clear aligners won’t get in the way of your eating and drinking habits, but you’ll want to remove them before you eat or before drinking any liquid other than water. We’ll determine the number of clear aligners you’ll need after your consultation, though you can expect treatment to last a few months or more. Once completed, you’ll have beautiful and straight teeth, a harmonious bite, and great dental function. Enjoy your healthy, confidence-boosting smile!
