Cosmetic Dentist or General Dentist?
There is no specific certification or training requirement that creates a “cosmetic dentist” specialty. On the one hand, this is good because it allows more flexibility when choosing a provider for your cosmetic procedure. On the other hand, it can complicate things because any general dentist can claim to be a “cosmetic dentist,” and it’s up to you, as the consumer, to do your research and find a dentist you can trust to make your smile beautiful.
