Single Dental Implants - Ft. Worth, TX

Gain a Permanent New Tooth

What Is a Dental Implant?

A dental implant is a permanent way to replace your unsalvageable or missing tooth. Its unique design mimics that of a natural tooth, including both the root and the visible crown. It doesn’t harm adjacent teeth and it even helps keep them in the proper position. Since it includes a titanium post placed into the jawbone, it also stimulates healthy jawbone growth, like your natural tooth once did. This preserves your health and facial structure. You won’t need to bother your other teeth like dental bridges do by shaving down healthy adjacent teeth. And you won’t need to struggle with an uncomfortable partial denture. A dental implant in Fort Worth, TX will be the closest alternative to a healthy tooth!

If you have a failing or missing tooth, our dentists can extract it (if applicable), surgically place a dental implant, and restore it with a CEREC custom dental crown—all in one appointment. This process takes an incredible level of precision and skill, as well as select design software and surgical technologies, to produce the ideal results. Our team has achieved this level of expertise in dental implant treatments, and we encourage you to read more about our experience, what to expect, and how you can afford dental implants.

A New Tooth in Three Phases

1

Phase 1: Design Your Tooth

Your first phase of treatment begins with a personalized consultation with our team. We’ll take digital scans of your mouth to use when planning your surgery and restoration. Next, we’ll assess the health of your mouth and discuss your goals for treatment. Replacing and restoring a single missing tooth takes incredible cosmetic and surgical skill. The tooth must be color-matched perfectly to the rest of your smile, mirror the tooth on the opposite side of your mouth, and fit snuggly between your adjacent teeth and along your gumline. In our photo studio, we’ll first capture images of you smiling, which we’ll use as reference to digitally design your new tooth. With this reference and our expertise and technology, we can ensure this level of precision and accuracy occurs during your treatment.

2

Phase Two: Place Your Tooth

The second phase of your treatment is your surgery, where we’ll remove your existing tooth (if necessary), then place your dental implant. We use implant materials from long-standing manufacturing companies like Nobel Biocare to ensure your implant is superior quality. If a bone graft is needed because the bone is too narrow or weak, we can also generally include this during the same surgery. Next, using our CEREC same-day restorations technology, we’ll custom design a temporary dental crown. This crown is durable and attractive and will remain in place while your dental implant heals. The great news is that you’ll most likely be able to leave this appointment with a functional tooth in place and a smile with no gaps!

3

Phase Three: Restore Your Tooth

Your jawbone and gum tissue will need a few months to heal after surgery. During this phase, your natural bone (and any bone grafts) will fuse to the dental implant post, creating a strong foundation for your final dental crown. You’ll be able to bite and chew like normal during this time. When your mouth is fully healed, you’ll return to our office to have your final dental crown designed and attached. Again, we’ll use our state-of-the-art CEREC technology to streamline this process even further! Your final dental crown is made from incredibly durable porcelain or ceramic materials custom-designed to blend seamlessly in with the rest of your smile. It will be as if you never lost a tooth in the first place!

The Tooth that Lasts for Life

Your dental implant is designed to last for decades, and if all goes well, for the rest of your life. No other tooth-replacement option can boast this longevity. That’s why we consider dental implants (when compared to bridges and partials) to be a true investment in your smile. A single dental implant begins at $4,500. This fee includes all dental implant materials, bone grafting, advanced healing techniques, and sedation. We’ll help you afford your investment in any way we can and offer third-party dental financing as well as our in-house membership club.
